Camtasia Studio – Complete Guide To Installation And Activation [v.8.1.2]

Camtasia studio is the easiest and smartest video editing software. It is a paid software. Which means you have to buy it in order to use its full feature. Here is how you can activate the software [v.8.1.2] without buying it in Windows 7/ 8/8.1/10.



Steps to follow:
  • Download the software.
  •  Extract it from the zip file.
  • You can find the instructions in the extracted folder too as well as here.
  • Go to start menu and type: run
  • Right click on it using mouse and click run as administrator
  • Here your PC user account must have administrative privilege or you have the administrator password to run it as admin
  • Type the following command in the CMD. cd drivers/etc and hit enter
  • Then type: notepad hosts and hit enter. It will open the hosts file in notepad.
  • Now copy and paste the following texts into the hosts file. Save the file and close.

127.0.0.1    activation.cloud.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1    oscount.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1    updater.techsmith.com

  • Now install the Camtasia studio using the installer and activate with any one of the serials given in the extracted folder. Enjoy!!
