Alternate Way to Bring Back DVD Drive in Windows 8

If your DVD drive is missing in windows 8 and DVD Drive Missing in Windows 8 - Solution cannot bring it back then you can try this method.

1. Go to this link or this and download CD-DVD Icon Repair software.
2. Install it.
3. Press "Repair CD-DVD Icon".
4. Restart your computer.
This will bring back your DVD drive back if your lucky. If still the drive is missing then check your PC hardware.
