Google has launched Android M 6.0 a few days ago. Everyone was very much eager to find out this new launch. But google may have not tested the OS on every aspect. After upgrading to the Android M 6.0, Nexus 5 is now cannot be connected to the PC as before.
But fortunately there is a work around process to solve this problem; for some person it may be a temporary process and have to do it each time while connecting to PC. And those who are lucky, may have to apply once.
Following are the steps to connect Nexus 5 with Android M 6.0:
1. First enable the Developer Options. Click here to know more.
2. Go to Developer Options and tap Select USB Configuration.
3. Choose MTP (Media Transfer Protocol). If it is already selected, please select again and it will make your device available in the PC file explorer.
4. Repeat the steps if the problem remains next time.
Hoping Google will solve the problem quickly. This is really annoying to transfer files by following some additional steps.
