Downloading YouTube videos is getting harder these days. Mostly, when you are using Google Chrome, you will not be able to use most of the add-ons/extensions to download videos from the YouTube. Moreover, there are security issues with the add-ons. There is no way you can tell that those add-ons stealing your data and using against you.


This procedure will show you how you can download YouTube videos without any software or any kind of add-ons. It has more advantage than only this. This process is also work on mobile phones. It means, you do not have to use any other software on your cell phone either if you follow this procedure. It is pretty much easier though.

  • Get the link of the YouTube video want to download. You have to make sure you get the full version of the link and not the short form of the link.
    Correct: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9mqJUO5w1I
    Wrong: https://youtu.be/F9mqJUO5w1I
  • Now put “10” in front of youtube.com of the URL.
    Example: https://www.10youtube.com/watch?v=F9mqJUO5w1I
  • Copy the edited URL and paste on the address bar of the browser and hit enter.
  • You will be taken to the following page where you will find all the available version of the video to download. Choose and download your required one.
