Make your pendrive bootable easily with video

These days use of a DVD ROM is nearly obsolete. There were days back then when we used ROMs to install operation systems from DVD/CD disks. But today, almost all of us use Pendrives to install operating system. To do this, you need to make your pendrive bootable. Let's see how to make a pendrive bootable.

To make a pendrive bootable, you will need three ingredients:

  1. One pendrive with minimum 8GB storage.
  2. Rufus software. (This will make the pendrive bootable) | Download-1 Or Download-2
  3. Operating system iso image with boot image in it.

Once you have all of the aforementioned ingredients, let's get cooking. Follow these steps to make a bootable pendrive:

  • Connect your pendrive to the computer you will work.
  • Run the Rufus software.
  • Select the pendrive from the dropdown menu at the top if it does not detect your connected pendrive automatically.
  • Browse the OS iso image and select it.
  • Hit "Start" to initiate the process to make the pendrive bootable.

Wait for a while based on your computer configuration, this waiting time will vary. Once you see a the status DONE at the bottom of the rufus software, you have got a bootable pendrive. You can install the operating system with it now.
